STRATEGI PENGEMBANGAN SUMBER DAYA MANUSIA DALAM MENINGKATKAN KINERJA PENDIDIK DAN MUTU PENDIDIKAN DI PESANTREN
Abstract
This study aims to analyze the human resource development strategies implemented by Islamic boarding schools, assess their impact on educator performance, and examine their contribution to improving educational quality. This research employed a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation with research subjects including Islamic boarding school leaders, educators, and students. Data analysis was conducted using an interactive model through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that the human resource development strategy at Darul Rahman Islamic Boarding School includes improving educator competency through training and workshops, managerial empowerment, and ongoing spiritual development. This strategy has been able to enhance educator professionalism in pedagogical, personality, social, and spiritual aspects. The impact is evident in increased work discipline, creativity in learning, and harmonious relationships between educators and students. Furthermore, the quality of education at the Islamic boarding school has improved, as evidenced by student achievement, learning discipline, and the creation of a religious and conducive educational environment. Targeted and sustainable human resource development is a key factor in improving educator performance and the quality of Islamic boarding school education.
