HUBUNGAN EKSPEKTASI DAN KESADARAN MASYARAKAT DENGAN PARTISIPASI MASYARAKAT DALAM PEMBANGUNAN INFRASTRUKTUR DASAR DI KELURAHAN LOA BAKUNG KOTA SAMARINDA
Abstract
Basic infrastructure development at the village level requires active community participation to achieve sustainable development. This study aims to analyze the relationship between community expectations and awareness and community participation in basic infrastructure development in Loa Bakung Village, Samarinda City. This quantitative study employed a correlational survey method. The population comprised 500 adult households, with a sample of 100 households selected using proportional random sampling. The data collection technique used was a questionnaire. The instrument was validated using item analysis, while its reliability was determined using a variance calculation formula. Data analysis employed statistical techniques such as correlation and simple regression, as well as correlation and multiple regression. The results showed a positive and significant relationship between community expectations and community awareness regarding participation in basic infrastructure development. This study concludes that to increase community participation, it is necessary to manage community expectations and foster collective awareness regarding the importance of involvement in environmental development.
