Abstract
Bina Santri Lapas is a Dompet Dhuafa program that contributes empathy to inmates through mental spiritual development, independence, personality and motivation for a better life. Optimizing the potential and talents of the inmates to prepare them when they return to the community. Curriculum management in correctional institutions refers to temporary religious and moral education. So that the curriculum not only compromises the quality of education but also emphasizes the irrational, by being stimulated by the curriculum content, history, narrative, and experiences of the inmates. The Dompet Dhuafa institution that plays a role in empowering education in the prison environment is included in informal education. Those who are in correctional institutions (prisons), have the same right to education, there should be no discrimination. Because every Indonesian citizen has the right to get an education. And education for those in prison is also very important. This study uses a qualitative approach (qualitative) which is a research procedure that produces descriptive data in the form of words or writings from people and observed behavior. So that by using this participant method and inductive analysis to find the meaning of the phenomenon in the background of the research, as well as the existence (participant observation), in-depth interviews (in depth interviews), and documentation. The Penitentiary Development Program (BSL), Dompet Dhuafa can provide religious guidance for inmates in prisons. And to assist in coaching for residents of correctional institutions (prisons). The Role of Community Service Institutions (LPM) Dompet Dhuafa designed a concept called Bina Santri Lapas (BSL). This program is an Exsisting program that is part of the da'wah service program, which is one of the da'wah activities of LPM Dompet Duafa.
