Abstrak

Determine actions that are prohibited in laws and regulations, one of which is by using criminal law policies. However, the current concern is the problem of children's behavior that violates the law, one of which is narcotics abuse. The problem in this study is what is the background and how the efforts of law enforcement officers in tackling the occurrence of criminal acts of narcotics abuse by minors based on sociological theory. This research method uses a normative juridical approach, namely library research with descriptive analysis and qualitative research. According to the author, narcotics abuse by children is caused by environmental factors and narcotics abuse by children focuses on the theory of legal certainty and the theory of punishment, namely the study of various criminal law instruments related to narcotics abuse by children currently in effect.
