47-50 IMPROVING THE STUDENTS’ VOCABULARY BY USING AUDIOBOOKS AT FOURTH GRADE

One of the gifts of audio books is that they have shaken up the habit of reading. In fact, the increasing number of easy-to-reach audio books has caused a rise in the number of people taking an interest in literary texts. Audiobooks can be used with readers to increase fluency, expand vocabulary, activate prior knowledge, develop understanding, and increase motivation to interact with books. This study aims to increase students' vocabulary by using audiobooks. The subjects of this study were fourth grade students at SDN 03 Cibunar. This research uses a case study as a qualitative research method. The participants were ten students from fourth grade students. Researcher collect and analyze data from observations, tests, and answer a questioner. Based on the findings and discussion, it can be concluded that the participants have achieved and exceeded the Minimum Standard Value (KKM). In addition, students are enthusiastic and comfortable with the Audiobooks application in the learning process.
