542-549 USING MEDIA AUDIO-VISUAL OF EXPLANATION TEXT TO IMPROVE STUDENT’S WRITING

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve the quality, process and ability of students in writing explanatory texts using audio-visual media. In this study using the method of classroom action research or classroom action research. Aims to improve the problems that exist in the classroom, namely the difficulty of students in writing explanatory texts. Data was collected by observing, filling out questionnaires and interviewing teachers. The results of the research show that there is an increase in the writing ability of class X students of SMA Tunas Bangsa.
