ANALISIS PENERAPAN MANAJEMEN STRATEGI PADA RAUDLATUL ATHFAL DALAM MENINGKATKAN KUALITAS PENDIDIDKAN DI RA NAHDLATUL ULAMA KAPLONGAN

Abstract

Education is a fundamental pillar of societal and national development. High-quality education is key to fostering a generation that is intelligent, creative, and possesses strong character. At the early childhood level, educational institutions such as *Raudlatul Athfal* (RA) play a crucial role in laying the foundation for early childhood education. This study aims to analyse the strategic management implemented by the head of RA Nahdlatul Ulama Kaplongan to enhance educational quality. The research focuses on strategy formulation, implementation, challenges and solutions, and strategy effectiveness. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, involving the RA head, teachers, supervisors, and parents as subjects. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation and subsequently analysed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that the RA head plays an active role in formulating the vision, mission, and innovative learning programmes by involving teachers and stakeholders. Strategies are implemented through organisation, supervision, and continuous evaluation. Key challenges—such as limitations in human resources, facilities, and parental participation—are addressed through teacher training, facility optimisation, and strengthened communication with parents. The implemented strategies have proven effective in enhancing teacher competence, student engagement, and parental satisfaction. Thus, the strategic management practices of the RA head contribute significantly to improving the quality of early childhood education.
