Author Guidelines
Islamika : Jurnal Agama, Pendidikan dan Sosial Budaya
Authors must attach an ethical clearance statement, which can be downloaded from the Zaheen: Journal of Education, Religion, and Culture website. These instructions are not a writing template, and authors may use the template provided on the Zaheen: Journal of Education, Religion, and Culture website. Manuscripts that successfully pass the final selection and are deemed publishable.
Accepted articles must be original and not previously published or under consideration for publication in another journal. Each article that successfully passes the final selection and is deemed publishable in Islamika: Jurnal Agama, Pendidikan, dan Sosial Budaya will be subject to an article processing fee. If the article is only submitted but does not pass the OJS stages, the author is not required to pay.
At the initial stage, the article format will be checked by the Managing Editorial Team, and the article’s similarity will be tested using Turnitin. Subsequently, each article will be submitted to peer reviewers (Mitra Bestari) for evaluation. The review process is conducted anonymously (blind review), where both parties remain unaware of each other’s identities. The reviewers’ assessments will serve as the basis for determining whether an article is accepted for publication in the journal. If needed, authors may consult the Editorial Board regarding the submission and publication process.
The article manuscript must comply with the writing guidelines of Islamika: Jurnal Agama, Pendidikan, dan Sosial Budaya, using the MS Word format as provided in the template available on the website. The manuscript file should be in MS Word format up to the 2007 edition, using the .doc format, not .docx. Article manuscripts must be submitted online through the Open Journal System on the Islamika: Jurnal Agama, Pendidikan, dan Sosial Budaya e-journal portal. The manuscript must include the essential components of a scientific article in the following order:
Article Title
Author's Name (without academic title)
Author's Affiliation Address
Abstract in Indonesian and English, along with Keywords
A. Introduction
B. Method
C. Results and Discussion
D. Conclusion
E. References
The article manuscript can be written in either Indonesian or English, with a minimum of 15 pages, including figures and tables. To maintain the quality of the article’s appearance in the journal, authors must carefully follow all of the writing guidelines below.
The corresponding author must be marked with an asterisk “*” and their email address must be provided (see example). All article revision results and final decisions will communicated only to the corresponding author via email. If there is more than one author, all author names along with their affiliations must be listed on separate lines to distinguish their respectiy affiliations. The author’s first name must not be abbreviated.
