Abstract
This study aims to analyze the partial influence of village budget allocation on local economic growth in Brojol Village and identify its implications for youth migration. This is because the phenomenon of youth migration from villages to cities is often associated with minimal economic opportunities in their areas of origin. Meanwhile, village funds are allocated with the hope of spurring local development and welfare. The research method used is a quantitative approach with an explanatory design. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling. Furthermore, to determine the sample size, the Slovin formula was used to obtain a sample of 80 respondents. In its implementation, the structural model of this study was tested using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method run using SmartPLS software version 4.0, which is considered suitable for social research based on latent constructs and Likert scales. The results of this study indicate that budget allocation has a positive and significant influence on local economic growth (path coefficient 0.375, t-statistic 2.998, p-value 0.003). Furthermore, it also has a significant effect on youth migration (coefficient value 0.443, t-statistic 4.226, p-value 0.00). Village-level fiscal policy plays a crucial role in stimulating economic activity. Good budget management can create more viable and attractive village conditions, thereby reducing the desire of youth to migrate.
