ANALISIS PENGARUH KOMPENSASI, MOTIVASI KERJA DAN DISIPLIN KERJA TERHADAP KINERJA KARYAWAN GENERASI Z DI PT. SUMBER ALFARIA TRIJAYA, TBK. BRANCH BALARAJA
Abstract
This study aims to analyze the effect of compensation, work motivation, and work discipline on the performance of Generation Z employees at PT. Sumber Alfaria Trijaya, Tbk. Balaraja Branch. A causal quantitative approach with a correlational survey method was employed. The study population comprised all 105 Generation Z employees at the Balaraja branch, with data collected using a saturated sampling (census) technique (N=105). Data were gathered through a 5-point Likert scale questionnaire, validated for accuracy and reliability. Data analysis included descriptive statistics, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, partial t-tests, and coefficient of determination (R2) analysis. The results revealed that: (1) Compensation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance (B = 0.292, t = 3.204, p = 0.002 < 0.05), contributing 22.0%; (2) Work motivation has a positive and significant effect on performance (B = 0.376, t = 4.091, p = 0.000 < 0.05), contributing 27.8%; (3) Work discipline has a positive and significant effect on performance (B = 0.286, t = 2.914, p = 0.004 < 0.05), contributing 22.3%; and (4) Simultaneously, compensation, work motivation, and work discipline significantly influence Generation Z employee performance with a correlation coefficient of R = 0.849 and a coefficient of determination R2 = 0.722 (72.2%). Retail management is advised to refine KPI-based compensation, foster intrinsic motivation, and implement communicative discipline practices.
