PENGARUH LINGKUNGAN, MOTIVASI, DAN DISIPLIN TERHADAP KEPUASAN KERJA KARYAWAN PT. HERMED
Abstract
This study aims to analyze the partial and simultaneous effects of work environment, work motivation, and work discipline on employee job satisfaction at PT. Hermed. A quantitative associative causal approach was employed, utilizing a Likert-scale questionnaire for data collection. The study population comprised all employees at PT. Hermed, with a sample size of 85 respondents selected via saturated sampling (census). Data were analyzed using classical assumption tests (Kolmogorov-Smirnov normality test, VIF multicollinearity test, and scatterplot heteroscedasticity test), multiple linear regression analysis, partial t-tests, and coefficient of determination (Adjusted R Square) using SPSS. The empirical findings revealed that: (1) Work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction (B = 0.239; t = 2.485; p = 0.015 < 0.05); (2) Work motivation has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction (B = 0.209; t = 2.627; p = 0.010 < 0.05); (3) Work discipline has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction (B = 0.222; t = 2.435; p = 0.017 < 0.05); and (4) Work environment, work motivation, and work discipline simultaneously exert a significant influence on employee job satisfaction with an Adjusted R Square value of 0.413 (41.3%), while the remaining 58.7% is influenced by other factors outside the research model. Management is advised to optimize physical workplace ergonomics, motivational reward schemes, and communicative discipline enforcement.
