Abstract
This study aims to analyse the principal's leadership in improving teacher performance at SDIT Al Fath Wanajaya Cibitung, Bekasi Regency, identify teacher performance, and analyse the supporting and inhibiting factors faced. The research methodology used a descriptive qualitative approach (case study). Data sources were obtained from key informants (Principal Erlangga, S.Pd., and School Committee Chair Hayati Najib Syam, M.Pd.), main informants (teachers Siti Maesaroh, S.Pd., Idayatun Ni’amah, S.Pd., and the vice principal of Curriculum Lulus Nur, S.Pd.), and additional informants (student parent Muhammad Husna). Data collection techniques included in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation study. Data analysis applied the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldana (data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing). The study concluded that: (1) The principal's leadership is categorised as quite good, adopting a democratic, communicative, and collaborative style through regular guidance, daily briefings, and joint prayers, as well as weekly and monthly meetings; (2) Teacher performance is executed well, covering lesson planning, IT-based instructional delivery, and learning evaluation through annual academic supervision; and (3) Supporting factors include high teacher commitment, relevant bachelor's/master's educational backgrounds, and teacher collaboration. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors include limited digital projectors, time management challenges for teachers working in multiple schools, and uneven teaching hours. The school is recommended to supplement IT media facilities, strengthen time management, and improve supervision effectiveness.
