TINJAUAN KRIMINOLOGI TERHADAP FUNGSI PATROLI POLISI DALAM PENCEGAHAN SUATU TINDAK PIDANA

Abstract

The function of the Police Patrol is highly expected as one of the spearheads of the National Police which is engaged in judicial repressive investigations, namely investigations which are expected to improve professional abilities to anticipate all deceptions and the abilities of criminals which are increasing day by day. The problem in this research is how is the implementation of police patrols in preventing a crime (Case Study in the Tangerang City Police Metro Police Area) and what factors are the obstacles to the police in preventing a crime. The research method is empirical juridical which is descriptive analytical so that the primary and secondary data are analyzed qualitatively. The nature of the research is descriptive analysis of the legal basis of Law No. 2 of 2002 concerning the Indonesian National Police.
