TINJAUAN KRIMINOLOGI TERHADAP MENINGKATNYA NARAPIDANA DI LAPAS PEMUDA KELAS IIA TANGERANG ATAS KASUS KEKERASAN TERHADAP ANAK PADA MASA PANDEMI COVID 19

Abstrak

Violence against children in Indonesia is quite worrying, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic, where there are many factors and obstacles that have caused an increase in violence against children during the Covid-19 pandemic. The increase in prisoners in the Class IIA Tangerang Youth Prison for cases of violence against children, this has had a big impact on growth and development of children who are victims of violence. The problem identification discussed in this thesis is what are the factors causing the increase in criminal acts of violence against children during the pandemic in the Class IIA Tangerang Youth Prison and what are the obstacles in overcoming the occurrence of violent crimes against children during the pandemic in the Class IIA Tangerang Youth Prison? , The method used is Qualitative with the Research Type namely Normative Juridical using library data collection techniques obtained from official documents, books, articles and journals. Data collection uses supporting data, namely primary, secondary and tertiary legal materials. Data analysis uses qualitative data. The theoretical basis used is routine activity theory and protection theory. The conclusion of this research is that the factors causing an increase in violence against children in the Tangerang Class IIA Youth Prison occurred due to the pressure of problems experienced by perpetrators of violence against children. The main problem was economic problems during the Covid 19 pandemic where there was a massive termination of employment contracts which resulted in This has an effect on the economic needs of the perpetrator's family during the Covid-19 pandemic. So that children become targets of anger and annoyance over the problems that befell their parents. And the obstacles in overcoming it consist of law enforcement which does not provide a deterrent effect for seafarers, facilities, the community environment and social culture.
