About the journal
Pelita: Jurnal Penelitian dan Karya Ilmiah (PELITA) is a peer-reviewed, open-access multidisciplinary journal published by Universitas Islam Syekh-Yusuf (UNIS), Tangerang, Indonesia, and managed by its Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM). It publishes research results and theoretical studies across the social sciences, law, Islamic studies, engineering, education, and economics.

Journal history
The journal was first published in print as PELITA and received its print ISSN, 1907-5693, in 2007. In 2019 it received its online ISSN, 2684-8856, under the title Pelita: Jurnal Penelitian dan Karya Ilmiah. See the Journal History.
Open access
All articles are free to read, download, and share immediately on publication, with no subscription or registration, following the COPE and DOAJ principles of open access. See the Open Access Policy.
Copyright and licence
Articles are published under the Creative Commons [LICENCE] 4.0 International licence. [State who holds the copyright: the authors, or the journal/Universitas Islam Syekh-Yusuf.]
Fees and sponsorship
There is no submission or review fee. An article publication fee of IDR 300,000 is payable only after acceptance. Authors may ask for a waiver, giving the manuscript number and the reason. See Article Processing Charges. The journal is supported by its publisher, Universitas Islam Syekh-Yusuf, carries no advertising, and fees play no part in editorial decisions.
Publication ethics
The journal follows the COPE Core Practices. See the Ethic Statement.
Archiving
The journal uses the LOCKSS system, supported by Open Journal Systems, to create a distributed archive among participating libraries for permanent preservation and restoration. Articles are also kept on the journal server of Universitas Islam Syekh-Yusuf, and each has a DOI. The journal does not currently take part in CLOCKSS. See the LOCKSS Publisher Manifest.
