Archiving Policy

OJS supports LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe). A system for archiving journals permanently and securely. LOCKSS is an open source software developed at the Library of Stanford University that allows libraries to maintain selected journal websites by regularly collecting data backups from registered journal websites for newly published content and archiving them. Each archive is continuously validated against other library caches, and if content is found corrupted or lost, caches or other journals are used to restore.
