ANALISIS YURIDIS TERHADAP PERAN DAN PENEGAKAN HUKUM DARI PEMERINTAH DALAM TRANSAKSI JUAL BELI KOSMETIK ILEGAL MELALUI E-COMMERCE DI KABUPATEN TANGERANG

Abstract

Selling illegal cosmetics on E-Commerce that does not meet health and safety standards and applicable legal provisions results in losses for consumers. Even though health, safety and law have their own standards, there are still illegal cosmetic sellers in E-Commerce. Based on the problems above, the author identified the formulation of several problems that he wanted to research, namely the role of the government, legal protection, and factors related to illegal cosmetics sold through E-Commerce. The research method uses empirical juridical research with a descriptive and qualitative analysis approach. Data collection methods are interviews and literature study. Refers to legal protection theory and justice theory. BPOM's efforts in Tangerang Regency. Based on research results, the role of government and law enforcement as well as legal protection for victims is still not effective. This is caused by many inhibiting factors, both internal and external.
