Marine Waste Management Based on Smart Environment in ASEAN: A Comparative Analysis of the Philippines, Indonesia, and Malaysia

Masalah sampah laut di kawasan ASEAN kian mendesak akibat pertumbuhan penduduk, urbanisasi, dan konsumsi plastik yang tinggi. Penelitian ini membandingkan kebijakan dan strategi pengelolaan sampah laut di Indonesia, Malaysia, dan Filipina dengan pendekatan Smart Environment, yakni tata kelola lingkungan berbasis teknologi cerdas dan berkelanjutan. Menggunakan metode systematic literature review, penelitian ini mengkaji peraturan nasional, sistem pengelolaan, serta inovasi teknologi di masing-masing negara. Hasil awal menunjukkan bahwa implementasi konsep Smart Environment melalui pengembangan pengelolaan limbah, manajemen energi, dan tata kelola sumber daya berkelanjutan memiliki potensi besar dalam mengurangi dampak lingkungan. Studi ini bertujuan memberikan rekomendasi kebijakan berbasis data dan teknologi untuk memperkuat pengelolaan sampah laut secara terintegrasi di kawasan ASEAN.
