Author Guidelines
Welcome to the Primacy Journal of English Education and Literacy! We are excited to consider your work for publication. To ensure a smooth submission process, please follow these guidelines carefully.
1. Manuscript Requirements
- Language: Manuscripts must be written in clear and concise English.
- Length: Manuscripts should be between 4,000 to 7,000 words, including references, tables, and figures.
- Format: Use 12-point Times New Roman font, double-spaced, with 1-inch margins on all sides.
- Structure: Include the following sections:
- Title Page: Title of the manuscript, author names, affiliations, and contact details.
- Abstract: A concise summary (150-250 words) of the objectives, methodology, results, and conclusion.
- Keywords: 3-5 keywords relevant to your study.
- Introduction: Overview of the topic, research questions, and objectives.
- Literature Review: Summary of relevant existing research.
- Methodology: Detailed explanation of the research design and methods.
- Results: Presentation of the research findings.
- Discussion: Interpretation of the results in the context of existing literature.
- Conclusion: Summary of findings and suggestions for future research.
- References: List of all sources cited in APA format.
2. Submission Process
- Submit your manuscript through our online submission system on the journal’s website.
- Include a cover letter addressing the editor, explaining the manuscript's significance and its suitability for the journal.
3. Peer Review
- All submitted manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process. This means both the reviewers and the authors remain anonymous.
- You will receive feedback and may be asked to revise your manuscript based on the reviewers' comments.
4. Ethical Considerations
- Ensure that your work is original and has not been published elsewhere.
- Properly cite all references and avoid plagiarism.
- If your study involves human subjects, ensure you have obtained necessary ethical approvals and consents.
5. Formatting References
- Follow APA 7th edition style for all references. Ensure that all in-text citations are correctly formatted.
6. Figures and Tables
- Ensure all figures and tables are clear, labeled, and referred to in the text.
- Place each figure and table within the text where it is discussed, not at the end of the manuscript.
7. After Acceptance
- Once accepted, you will receive proofs of your manuscript for final approval before publication.
- You will need to check these proofs carefully and return them to us within the specified deadline.
