DIVIDEN DEMOGRAFI: PELUANG DAN TANTANGAN, BONUS ATAU FATAMORGANA

Abstract

In this first edition (1^st), a literature review was conducted to explain the demographic dividend and demographic transition and its potential implications as opportunities and challenges, bonuses or mere mirages of each stage of transition. Library research was chosen as this type of research The source of research data is secondary data. A total of 15 reputable journals containing relevant content and issues were prepared from scratch for analysis. Meta-analysis of data search with a snow ball approach is also relevant, to complement the lack of data. The study finds, Demographic bonus can be said to be an advantage or blessing, but it needs to be prepared socio-economically and policy. The demographic bonus begins at the stage of demographic transition, where the productive age population dominates the age structure of the population. The dominance of this age structure has the potential to be both an opportunity and a challenge, as well as a bonus from dividends or simply as an endless view or mirage. Discussion of study results, conclusions, implications and recommendations, research contributions and research limitations are described at the end of this paper.
