About the Journal

Foremost Journal, the Foreign Language Models, Studies, and Research Publication, is a scientific publication media for students, lecturers, and other education stakeholders as the results of individual or groups research. This scientific journal is published by English Language Education Department, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, the Islamic University of Syekh-Yusuf Tangerang since January 2020. It publishes two issues in a year (February and August) with scopes language education, applied linguistics (including sociolinguistics, psycholinguistics, and neurolinguistics) in language education, cultural studies & cultural education, intercultural education, Translation studies and education, and research methods in related fields.

Adjustment of Publication Date

Dear Authors and Readers,

We are pleased to announce a change on the publication schedule in Foremost Journal. Starting from the next publication, Volume 7 Edition 1, 2025, the publication date will be transitioning from February and August to January and July. This adjustment will allow us to streamline the publishing process and enhance the overall efficiency of Foremost Journal operations.

We appreciate your understanding and support as the implementation of this change. We look forward to continuing the provision of high-quality journal articles biannually.

Volume 7, Issue 1, January 2026 edition of Foremost Journal proudly presents a collection of selected scholars’ works from various institutions including Universitas Gunadarma, Universitas Ary Ginanjar, Universitas Esa Unggul, Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa, universitas Djuanda, Universitas Banten Jaya, and Universitas Mathla’ul Anwar. These research articles highlight current trends and critical discussions in English Language Education, English Literature, and English Applied Linguistics.  Moreover, this issue brings together rigorous empirical and conceptual studies employing diverse methodologies, such as experimental research, correlational studies, qualitative inquiry, descriptive analysis, and systematic literature review. The variety of research perspectives represented in this edition demonstrates the richness and complexity of contemporary scholarship in English studies.

We extend our appreciation to all contributing authors, reviewers, and editors for their dedication and academic integrity. Their collaborative efforts ensure the quality and relevance of each published article. The studies featured in this issue It is expected to not only broaden theoretical insights but also provide practical implications for educators, researchers, and practitioners, while encouraging continuous innovation and further investigation in the field.
