Foremost Journal, the Foreign Language Models, Studies, and Research Publication, is a scientific publication media for students, lecturers, and other education stakeholders as the results of individual or groups research. This scientific journal is published by English Language Education Department, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, the Islamic University of Syekh-Yusuf Tangerang since January 2020. It publishes two issues in a year (February and August) with scopes language education, applied linguistics (including sociolinguistics, psycholinguistics, and neurolinguistics) in language education, cultural studies & cultural education, intercultural education, Translation studies and education, and research methods in related fields.
This edition of Foremost Journal, volume 6, issue 1, 2025, emphasises significant developments in language learning and teaching, combining various topics and research methods. This edition's research examine diverse aspects of language learning, including the use of innovative teaching strategies, technologies, and distinctive language error traits (fossilization), employing case studies, experimental research, descriptive analysis, and content analysis. This issue comprised contributions from several universities, such as MNC University, Esa Unggul University, Djuanda University, Ary Ginanjar University, Universitas Kristen Maranatha, and Universitas Islam Syekh Yusuf. This collection offers distinctive insights into language learning and instructional effectiveness by analysing both traditional and novel teaching practices, thereby contributes to the language education advancement.
